Here is some chamber music on this hopefully peaceful Wednesday for your enjoyment-Felix Mendelssohn's trio for piano, violin and cello.

Felix Mendelssohn [1809 - 1847] |
This trio is scored in the key of D-minor with 4 movements: 1. Molto allegro ed agitato; 2. Andante con moto tranquillo; 3. Scherzo; and 4. Allegro assai appasionato, which means it should be played at a fast tempo with much passion. I think you will agree, the finale of this great trio [that starts at 19:40] is true to Mendelssohn's score.
Please turn up the volume, play in full screen and enjoy this trio from one of my favorite composers, Felix Mendelssohn.

This trio is one of my absolute favorites, but then I've long been a Mendelssohn fan. I just mastered the opening theme of his Variations Serieuses, and that may be all I will master - it's a hellish piece to play for anyone but the most gifted of pianists. Thanks for posting :-)
Thanks Pamela!!!
