I Never Thought I Would See The Day That Conservatives Would Support This Man B Over This Man A

Repeat post from a year ago [with updates]:

As I have been for more than 40 years a conservative Republican, it is very disheartening to see what is happening to the conservative movement during the nomination, the election of, and the presidency of the current president.  Certainly I am not talking about all conservatives and I am not sure if it is even a majority of conservatives...but it is definitely a good portion of conservatives that I am more and more distancing myself from.

Here is an example [with the answer to the rhetorical question I will ask] of why I am disheartened.  I will give a list of descriptions of two men who I will label man A and man B.

After you read the two descriptions, I will ask you a question.  So, put your thinking caps on.  :-)

Man A:

* was a United States Marine

* oversaw the prosecutions of Manuel Noriega, the Pan Am Flight Lockerbie bombing case, and oversaw the prosecution of the Gambino crime boss, John Gotti

* served in the 2nd Battalion, 4th Maines/ 3rd Marine Division in Vietnam in 1968

* a former acting U.S. Deputy Atty. General and FBI director

* Bronze Star Medal winner, Received the Purple Heart, and 2 Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals; received the Thayer award for his military service and Baker award for intelligence and national security contributions

* and a lifelong Republican

Man B:

* has said in the past that it was president George W Bush who should have been impeached and not president Bill Clinton

* uses insulting name calling to anyone who he disagrees with or thinks that poses a threat to him, including a Gold Star Mom and a physically disabled man

* has repeated [Retweeted] numerous nutty conspiracy theories, such as Senator Ted Cruz Dad, Rafael, was involved in the assassination of president John F Kennedy and such as, President George W Bush knew ahead of time about 9-11, and such as, President Obama was not born in the United States

* has been caught on tape using vulgar language denigrating women

* has had charges from numerous women of being abusive towards them and has had a charge from a porn star of being unfaithful to his current wife - at a time around when one of his children were being born-and he has been accused of paying off the porn star

* has said there were some very good people among those marching thru the Charlotte streets shouting "Jews will not replace us"

* has said he doesn't think POW's [that have been tortured] are heroes, because they have been captured

* has called the news media the "enemy of the people"

* has said he believes tariffs are a good thing

* has said he believed Putin when he said Russia didn't interfere with our elections, has said he believed Saudi prince MBS when he said he had nothing to do with the torture/murder of Khashoggi and now says that he believes the thug dictator Kim Jong Un when he says that he had no knowledge of the torture murder of Otto Warmbier

* has certainly not been a lifelong Republican or a conservative for very long in his adult life

Now here is my question: Did you ever think you would see the day that a good portion of conservatives would support enthusiastically Man B, and attack Man A?

For those who don't know:
Man A = Robert Mueller

Do I really need to tell you who Man B is?
