Tales wishes everyone a safe and great New Years Eve tonight and a very blessed, and healthy, and Happy New Year 2019!
Last New Years Eve I made two New Years resolutions that I thought were achievable...and I came very close to achieving both of them:
1. Walk at least 3 miles a day for every day possible [i.e., excluding extreme bad weather or sickness or when on vacation]. I achieved that the whole year!
2. To start reading books again, which I admit shamefully that I had stopped doing for years. My goal was to average reading at least 2 books a month to try and read 25 for the year. Well, I got real close reading 23 books in 2018. And now I am pleasurably reading on a regular basis again, so that is a good thing, I think. Here is the list of books I read in 2018:
I will make the same two New Years resolutions this year, 2019, with a slight variation. I will try and walk for at least 45 minutes to an hour every day possible, and I will try and read 50 books this year [so, instead of 1 every 2 weeks, I will try for 1 book a week]. And while I will still read fiction thrillers and historical fiction thrillers, I will try also to read more historical and non fiction books. Bring it on 2019. :-)
Again, Happy New Years 2019 everyone!
Please turn up the volume for this beautiful version of Auld Lang Syne.
