Please Let Us Honor Our Fallen Heroes Without Politics

It is sad that politics seems to have entered every phase of our lives these days, and I am getting sick of it.  It is really sad and sickening when politics is involved in honoring our fallen soldier heroes.

Recently in Niger four of those heroes sadly lost their lives in an ambush by terrorists.  The four great Americans [and their families] we should honor and pray for: Staff Sgt. Dustin Wright, Staff Sgt. Jeremiah Johnson, Seargant LaDavid Johnson, and Staff Sgt. Bryan Black.

May they rest in peace, and may God ease the pain of all the families and friends of these patriots.

Please, stop bringing politics into this.  Only the heart broken and grieving gold star families should comment if they wish, and comment in any way they wish.  We let them have their say, no matter whether we agree or not.  That includes every politician on every side, from the Republican president to the Democrat congressman, yes to even a gold star general who made a beautiful heart warming and touching statement about his hero fallen son-but then just should have left it at that.  That would have been perfect that every decent person would have applauded.

I'm not going to get into who started it, or who inflamed it or who should get the most blame, because then I will be bringing politics into it.

Please, everyone except the Gold Star families, shut up and let the families grieve in peace.

Let us honor and always remember these great American heroes.
