Guy Benson - 2018 May Be An 'Impeachment Referendum'

Repeat post, I think still relevant, from June 13, 2017:

Guy Benson
Guy Benson, editor of Townhall.com and Fox News contributor, was sub hosting for Hugh Hewitt on the Hugh Hewitt radio show in the morning on Monday June 12, 2017.  Guy interviewed Byron York, chief political correspondent for the Washington Examiner, about his article Saturday [Five Notes on Trump's Current Predicament] opining that with the Democrats, it is not about collusion anymore and they are now into full impeachment mode of president Trump thinking they already have enough evidence to impeach Trump on an "obstruction of justice" charge.

Byron York "Five Notes On Trump's Current Predicament"
Byron York in his article on Saturday said that the key to the Democrats, in their minds, is not about more evidence needed to bring up impeachment charges on president Trump but more votes in the House; 218 votes to be exact.  That is why both Byron and Guy Benson agreed that it is the 2018 elections the Democrats are now looking at.  Take control and Nancy Pelosi then becomes Speaker and they probably will have those 218 votes. Don't take control and Paul Ryan remains as Speaker and they probably won't have the votes necessary.

Which is why Guy Benson I think brilliantly quipped that 2018 may be "an impeachment referendum".

Thanks to Hughniverse podcast for this audio I used in this video, from June 12, 2017: Guy Benson discussing Byron York's article in the Washington Examiner from Saturday, June 10, 2017:
