There are some statements coming from a public official that are so inane that you just have to shake your head.
Just a couple of examples: you had Rep. Hank Johnson, D-GA, actually ask Admiral Robert Willard in a congressional hearing in April 2010 if putting some U.S. Marines on Guam would make it tip over and capsize. I kid you not.
You had Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, D-TX, also in 2010, ask if the Mars Pathfinder took a picture of the flag that [Neil Armstrong] planted there. I kid you not.
Now today, Feb. 27, 2017, you have the president of the United States actually say that, "Nobody [as in zero, nada] knew that health care could be so complicated." I kid you not.
President of the United States, Donald Trump on Feb. 27, 2017:
I wonder how many millions of Americans were like kids in a school room, raising their hands in class and yelling at the teacher, Donald Trump, "I knew!" :-)
