God Bless This Baltimore Mom

Hat/tip:  Fox and Friends Tuesday morning show with guest Dr. Phil showing the following video.

Fox and Friends:  Steve Doocy, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, and Brian Kilmeade

When the unrest in Baltimore first began in the afternoon by school students when they got out of school, a lot of people were asking, where's the parents?  Well, there was one Baltimore Mom [as it was reported on social media] who made sure her son wasn't going to be one of those kids participating in the rock and bottle throwing at the police [which later in the night escalated to rioting, looting and burning of the city].

This Mom literally tried to slap some sense in her teen age son and she dragged him home.  I am like Dr. Phil, who was on the Fox News Channel Show's "Fox and Friends" who said, normally I would be against any parent hitting their child in the face, but in this case I applaud and am proud of this Mom.  This Mom by dragging her son away from the rioting, just may have possibly saved her son's future.  I am sure he will be very embarrassed with his friends from school, but years from now he will realize what an awesome Mom he had from saving him from possible disaster.

Thank you Fox and Friends for this segment.

I saw this video this morning and it made me want to cry, because I said to myself, "finally someone is being responsible, someone is doing what should have been done by more parents and much sooner." I am so proud of this mother and I hope that her example will spread. I know that she is a responsible mother and I can tell that her son respects her because he did not try to fight her as some teenagers would have. This is a mother who loves her son and is trying to raise him to be better than the mob that he was trying to be a part of. For once we saw a responsible adult, a parent being a parent and I could not be more proud of her. I wish that I could give her a hug and say thank you to her.

I saw the clip on Megyn Kelly, and this lady has 6 kids and is a single mom. She wants her son to grow up to be a responsible adult. Megyn Kelly applauded her, too, and said that her son has a chance now. Yes, bravo. Something positive in the middle of a very negative event. Thank you for your wise comments, Sheralyn!!
