West Point Cadets |
These young men know which man truly respects and admires and prays for them, and which man only shows faux respect for them. They know which man is sincere and which man is one of the biggest egotists that has ever occupied the White House.
I want to make it clear that I am not saying that this video means the cadets and all our great men and women serving in the military do not respect the office of the president. They all respect the office of the president and they all will honor the chain of command that comes down from the commander-in-chief. But I think while the cadets do respect the office, this video shows that they do not respect the current office holder.
Video From "The Kelly Files" on the Fox New Channel:
Megyn Kelly asked, "What does that tell us?" I think it tells us to get respect, especially from our young men and women of the military, you must earn that respect. You earn that respect by earnestly displaying it to the ones you want respect from. In other words, you must give respect to earn respect. President George W. Bush earned the respect that was shown to him by the cadets. Barack earned exactly what he got, a "chilly reception."
One note. This video was taken a few days before the disgusting Obama swap of five top Taliban terrorists for deserter US Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl. After that slap in the face to the troops, I doubt if president Obama would have even received as much polite applause as he did in this video.
