The Real Mister Etch A Sketch

Tales on vacation, re-post from March 8, 2012:

On January 22, 2009 Obama promised to close Gitmo within a year:

Thankfully, because of a consensus from the American people and even Democrats opposition, Gitmo is still open today.  Obama seems to love it so much he is even spending nearly $1 million for a soccer field for those poor detaines.

From In the 2008 election race, both Barack Obama and Joe Biden  opposed same sex marriage.

In an interview with ABC News,October of last year,  Obama said his position on Gay marriage was evolving.

In an interview with NBCNews on August 5th of 2009, Obama said the last thing you want to do in a recession is raise taxes.

In April of 2011, with the economy still tremendously hurting the American people  Obama proposed raising taxes on those earning more than $250000.

When running for president in 2008, Obama told members of AIPAC that he was for a united, undivided Jerusalem for Israel.

Two days later, TWO DAYS LATER this from the Washington Post:  "Facing criticism from Palestinians, Sen. Barack Obama acknowledged today that the status of Jerusalem will need to be negotiated in future peace talks, amending a statement earlier in the week that Jerusalem "must remain undivided."

In an interview with ABC News President Obama said, "if I don't have this done [fixing the economy] in three years, it' a one term proposition."

Then three daya later after he said he had to fix the economy or it would be a one term proposition: Feb. 2012 speaking to a Univision audience:
"My presidency is not over,' Obama said in an interview with Univision Radio when asked about his failure so far to push through an immigration bill.
'I've got another five years coming up."

Yes, the Etch a Sketch analogy is alive and well in this presidential campaign.
President Obma is the real Mister Etch a sketch.
