Where Are You ADL?

What a shame.  There was a time when the Anti Defamation League was a stalwart group speaking out against all types of discrimination and hate speech wherever and whoever it involved.

This from the ADL web site on what they stand for:  "The Anti-Defamation League was founded in 1913 "to stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment to all." Now the nation's premier civil rights/human relations agency, ADL fights anti-Semitism and all forms of bigotry, defends democratic ideals and protects civil rights for all."

At one time they truly acted as a respected conscience of society against vulgar hateful rhetoric or actions.  No more.  With the election of Barack Obama as president, they have joined the mainstream media as Obama sycophants, never speaking out with the overwhelming hate speech that has come out from liberal Democrats these last four years. To do that may hurt their man, Obama.   The following example is just a continuance of the selective outrage from Abe Foxman and the ADL since the presidency of Barack Obama.  Shame, shame, shame.

This most recent example of deafening silence from the ADL has been on Vice president Joe Biden's vulgar reference to slavery when he told a predominantly African American audience that they "gonna put y'all back in chains."   The reason I emphasized those words is to refute the intellectually dishonest liberals who are saying that Joe wasn't talking about slavery or even about African Americans. Or those who are laughingly saying, that is just Joe being Joe.  No, Joe 'the buffoon', Biden, this North Easterner, by using the southern word y'all, clearly meant it to mean this was for the blacks in the audience. He didn't say "they want to put us back...'   Then when he said back in chains, clearly emphasizes that he was talking about blacks during the time of slavery. Unless I missed it, I don't remember whites in this country ever being in chains.

Forget about there not being outrage from the president of the United States or his spokesmen [Stephanie Cutter said she saw no problem with this language at all] or outrage from the main stream media or outrage from major black organizations. I want to know why there is no outrage and demands for an apology from the ADL.  If anyone should be sensitive to divisive hate speech, it is this one time proud Jewish organization. The Jewish people know about being made scapegoats throughout the world, especially in Hitler's Germany, and we know what detrimental hate speech against a group [in this case against Republicans] can lead to.

So, is it okay to the ADL that Biden can say this to African Americans because Biden was just trying to turn out the base and didn't really mean what he said?   What will it take for the ADL to get upset over hate speech from a liberal?  If Biden, trying to woo the Jewish vote, goes before a Jewish group and says 'their policies will put y'all back in the gas chambers.'  Would that even evoke a response from the ADL?  Or would that just be Joe being Joe.   I truly wonder.
As a side note: Besides the sick vulgarity of Biden's statement, it was also rewriting history.  It was Democrats not Republicans at the time of slavery who were in favor of slavery and putting black people in chains.  Unless by the they, Biden meant Democrats want to put y'all back in chains.

The msm and far left organizations will NEVER criticize Obama , they only care about winning the election, could care less about what is right morally or ethically----- hypocrites and being such minimizes their importance!n

I actually thought after I heard Biden speak those words, he really was meaning "they" meant the Progressive Dems. After all, what comes out of the mouth comes from within a man's heart.
