Friends In High Places

From Michael Barbaro of the New York Times  [April 7, 2012]: "in 1976, the lives of Mitt Romney and Benjamin Netanyahu intersected, briefly but indelibly, in the 16th-floor offices of the Boston Consulting Group, where both had been recruited as corporate advisers...That shared experience decades ago led to a warm friendship, little known to outsiders...When Mr. Romney was the governor of Massachusetts, Mr. Netanyahu offered him firsthand pointers on how to shrink the size of government. When Mr. Netanyahu wanted to encourage pension funds to divest from businesses tied to Iran, Mr. Romney counseled him on which American officials to meet with...on Super Tuesday, Mr. Netanyahu delivered a personal briefing by telephone to Mr. Romney about the situation in Iran."

You can read the entire great article in the New York Times by clicking: "A Friendship Dating To 1976 Resonates in 2012."
We have President Obama, early in his administration [therefore, not having to pose in a false pretense of friendship with the Israeli Prime Minister], disgracefully leaving the Prime Minister in a room in the White House by himself, as he went to dinner with the First Lady.   Then, on the other hand, we have Mitt Romney actually having dinners with Benjamin Netanyahu.

We have President Obama telling French President Sarkozy on a hot mike, talking about Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with disdain: "You're fed up with him, I have to deal with him every day."    Then, on the other hand, we have Mitt Romney who has actually worked with Benjamin Netanyahu for many days as partners and friends.

We have President Obama, without talking to the Israeli Prime Minister before hand, declare before the world that peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians should have, as a starting reference point, the 1967 borders [thereby stabbing Israel in the back].     Then, on the other hand, we have Mitt Romney speaking to Bibi personally on which American officials he should meet with, trying to help Israel and not stab her in the back.

We have Obama administration officials and Obama himself, time and time and time again scolding Israel, in front of the world, about building homes in their own land.    Then, on the other hand, we have Mitt Romney praising Israel as the great beacon of democracy and freedom in the Middle East.

We have President Obama, being the greatest friend the Muslim Brotherhood has had with any American president.   Then, on the other hand, we have Mitt Romney, who is an actual friend of the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu.
A true friend of Israel does not have to convince the prime minister of Israel that he really is a friend because he has Israel's back. A true friend of Israel demonstrates that he is a friend to the prime minister of Israel, by being a friend of Israel.

I ask all American friends of Israel, Christian or Jewish: are you a friend of Israel in words only, or are you a friend of Israel by your deeds: i.e., supporting for president the only true friend of Israel who will be running for President in  November, 2012?

I've said always, watch obama's actions not words---any jewish american who helps elect obama to a second term , will have israeli blood on their voting hand, god forbid, if anything with iran happens during a second term. Just the other night i was at an event where a supposedly educated adult jewish lady said, I'm a lifelong democrat, i will always be one---what an idiot, hard to respect such ignorance --- when i asked her about israel, she said there is NO difference between parties--- i goes everyone has a right to be ignorant!!

Brad, if a supposed educated person doesn't have the intellectual honesty to look at the facts and use those facts to make a decision, you have to wonder what the education meant to them.

That's the problem. We have dummied down our public schools, and we have filled the Universities with Intellectual Idiots filled with half-truths & propoganda...Hitler did the same thing. When an American Jew doesn't know what happened & are asleep, I say as to the direction the world is headed; then I would distance myself from them. No hope. Christians United 4 Israel, with Pastor John Hagee in San Antonio TX knows the seriousness of what's taking place. This isn't the same ole same ole United States. She's about ready to fall. If Obama gets in, hunker down. It's now time to stand strong and find like minded people. This Judeo/Christian nation is extremely weak from the inside out. We have terrorists here that HATE Jews & Christians. I suggest we pay attention to what God is saying. As King Solomon said, there is NOTHING new under the sun. God Bless America
