Honoring Our Military on This Sunday

Thank you Hugh Hewitt for always honoring our military and praising the sacrifices they make for our freedom. I also, want to thank you for introducing me to these two heart felt hymns, as you have played them on your radio show when you honor those that have given the ultimate sacrifice.

So, on this classical weekend Sunday on the Tales, in light of the soldiers recently killed in Afghanistan, and to honor all the men and women of the military, I would like to play the stirring hymns: "Mansions of the Lord"  and the Navy hymn

"Mansions of the Lord" was originally written for the 2002 film We Were Soldiers and it was played in the recessional of the funeral of president Ronald Reagan.

Both of these hymns are Christian based, but you don't have to be a Christian to have these moving hymns give you a lump in your throat.

God Bless our fallen heroes and their families.
