Eine Kleine "Clarinet" Music

The quintessential classical composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was a virtuoso violinist and pianist and became one of the greatest composers of classical music ever.   While we know him best for his compositions involving the piano and strings, I love him for his beautifully incorporating the clarinet into his symphonies, and in other compositions.  His incomparable clarinet concerto entralled me so much, it led to my love of the clarinet and my teaching myself how to play the instrument.  Oh, what a wonderful sound.    The clarinet has the largest pitch range of all the woodwind instruments. [very low to very high]

Mozart composed this perfect piece a few months before his death at 35. It was his only clarinet concerto and it was the last concerto he would ever compose. This is special.

Listen to the extreme range of the clarinet in this magnificent piece.
