The public 'Goon'ions of Wisconsin

This from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel: Unions threaten boycott of businesses that don't support them

Members of the Wisconsin State Employees Union, AFSCME Council 24, have begun circulating letters to businesses in southeast Wisconsin, warning that they will face a boycott if they don't support collective bargaining for public employee unions.
The letters ask businesses to express that support by displaying union signs in their windows.
"Failure to do so will leave us no choice but (to) do a public boycott of your business," the letter says. "And sorry, neutral means 'no' to those who work for the largest employer in the area and are union members."

Hmm,  Extortion:  a criminal offense which occurs when a person unlawfully obtains either money, property or services from a person(s), entity, or institution, through coercion. Refraining from doing harm is sometimes euphemistically called protection.

Don't we have the entity of the State Employees Union obtaining a service from businesses in Wisconsin, displaying a sign of support of their union, by the union's coercive threat of  a boycott of their business?

Do you think the great purveyor of justice, Atty General Eric Holder, will look into this?
Neither do I.
While this might turn out legally not to be extortion, I believe these thugish tactics will have the backlash effect of turning the good people of Wisconsin against the unions.  In fact, it could be the turning point in actually helping  Gov. Scott Walker and the GOP there.
