Ravel's 'Bolero'

Who would have thought it was a French man, Maurice Ravel, to bring out such Spanish flavor in the popular piece: Bolero.  This is my fetching wife Sheralyn's favorite piece and we are going to hear it tonight at Jones Hall with the Houston Symphony.  It is not only my wife's favorite, it is the composer's also.  When asked about his greatest compostition Ravel replied: 'Ah, my Bolero.'
This well known piece is unusual in that it only has one theme played over and over again. But it is not in anyway boring as what makes it interesting to listen to is the change in dynamics: pianissimo-very soft to fortissimo-very loud
Now for your enjoyment, Maurice Ravel's: Bolero
