Junior takes the pole

Here is another one of those fairy tale sports stories.  On the 10th anniversary of his Dad's death at the Daytona 500, Dale Earnhardt Jr has won the pole for the race.  I am rooting that the clock never strikes 12 and Junior can win this year's Daytona 500... what a tear jerker that would be.  I understand on the third lap of the race their will be a pause and a moment of silence with everyone in the stands raising 3 fingers in memory of the #3 car that Dale Earnhardt raced.  Even those who know nothing about NASCAR I think should at least watch that and see if you can watch it without getting choked up. If you can then you have no heart.
This year I'm rooting for the #88 car of Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. reclaimed the spotlight in Daytona speedweeks, winning pole position for the Daytona 500 with a lap of 186.089 mph in qualifying Sunday.
It’s a boost for Earnhardt, who is coming off a couple of disappointing seasons and spent part of the past week facing questions about the 10-year anniversary of his father’s death at the track.
