Tales Salutes These Unsung Great Americans

Because of this recent post from the Tales, "Shameful Leftists' Hate Tweets Against Sen Tim ScottI'd like to do this repeat post first published on 8/27/2014:

TALES SALUTES THESE UNSUNG GREAT AMERICANS

While of course, Tales recognizes all the men and women in the military as our true heroes that this nation owes a debt to and that we should never forget, there are some other great patriotic Americans that Tales wishes to acknowledge for their courage in standing up for their beliefs in the face of sometimes vicious criticism.

Who am I talking about?  Black conservatives.

These are men and women who not only have shown independent thought from the vast majority [if election results and polls are to be believed] of their other fellow blacks, but they face, especially from their brothers and sisters in the black community, sometimes vicious, mean spirited criticism for holding such independent beliefs.  At the same time, this is one minority group white liberals have no qualms about criticizing in a hateful manner.  So, black conservatives receive hate speech from both Democrat blacks and white liberals.

Talk about hate speech, there has been some ugly name calling, like Uncle Tom or not legitimately black.  A white liberal cartoonist portrayed the first African American Secretary of State, Condoleeza Rice in an obnoxious racist way.  And there was a deafening silence from the so-called civil rights organizations rushing to her defense.  That is disgraceful in my mind.

To me these black conservatives have shown great courage in not only there independent thinking but in their willing to speak out about the issues they care about in spite of the criticism.

That is why I say it is the black conservatives/Republicans who I want to salute and thank for their courage in standing up for their beliefs.  In my mind you are the unsung great Americans who deserves all American's admiration.

Tales honors and salutes all black conservatives, just a few of which are [in no particular order]:
