Hugh Hewitt And Eliana Johnson's Prescient Comments Back In June

Because of recent events I thought it appropriate to do this repeat post from almost 5 months ago that is even more relevant today than when Hugh Hewitt and Eliana Johnson first made their comments on June 2, 2016.

Repeat post from June 3, 2016 : "Hugh Hewitt Q & A Reveals All You Need To Know About The State of the Democrat and Republican Party"

Hugh Hewitt - Morning Glory show
On Thursday morning's [June 2, 2016] Hugh Hewitt radio show, Hugh asked a question to NRO's Eliana Johnson that revealed all you needed to know about the state of the Republican Party.  Her answer revealed all you needed to know about the state of the Democrat Party.

Hugh Hewitt's final question to Eliana Johnson on his radio show was:  "Do you think Donald Trump has a chance" [to win the presidency]?

Think about that.  Hillary Clinton has had very bad approval numbers, that are getting lower by the day, and is distrusted and not thought honest by the electorate, and is having a disastrous campaign, with bad news coming out almost every day that some speculate could actually amount to an indictment of her or one of her aides.  And Hugh's question to Eliana was, "Do you think Trump has a chance?"  With the state of the Clinton campaign, and if the Republicans had any kind of decent legitimate, normal presidential presumptive nominee, the question wouldn't be do they have a chance, but how big will the blowout be?  Hugh Hewitt's question reveals how bad a state the Republican Party is in.

Eliana Johnson - NRO
What may even be worse for the Democrat Party is Eliana Johnson's answer to the Hugh Hewitt question, "do you think he [Trump] has a chance?  Eliana's answer to Hugh was: "Yes".  And Hugh immediately agreed with Eliana that the answer was yes.

Think about that.  Donald Trump has been an insulting buffoon on the campaign trail, much more resembling a school yard bully and or a carnival barker than a legitimate presidential nominee.  Trump has shown cluelessness in the debates about foreign policy/military/national security matters, and he has insulted just about every human being alive including women, Mexicans, Muslims, war heroes, former GOP president's, and he has disapproval numbers so low that they even make Hillary's look good in comparison.  Yet even with all of that the answer to Hugh's question was yes, Trump has a chance to winEliana Johnson's answer to Hugh's question let's you know all you need to know about how bad a state the Democrat Party is in.

In a variation of a Hugh Hewitt statement made recently on his show, The Democrats are about to nominate the only person in the world who could lose to Donald Trump, and the Republicans are about to nominate the only person in the world who could lose to Hillary Clinton.

Beam me up, Scotty.  Come to think about it, does this Hugh Hewitt question and answer reveal the bad states of the GOP and Democrats, or of how bad a state America is in?

The answer to your question is really very easy. As Sherlock Holmes would say, "The answer is elementary my Dear Watson," the state of America has reached an all new low. There is so much moral decay in this country that it's hard if not impossible to tell between the two parties. This election has put a spot light on the mentality of the constituents of this country and it's not pretty, actually it's sad and depressing and like a bad case of the flu, it has to run its course. I don't hold out much hope that any lessons will be learned from this debacle, because none were learned from electing Obama. The statement that, " you can't fix stupid", is an understatement for what is about to happen to this country.

The worst choice possible. Both to all losers. Wish neither could win.

Amen, big Harry! Praying for a miracle that one or better yet both of them somehow, someway aren't nominated by their Party. Of course, as my wise brother would tell me, are you smoking something? :-)
