Oh, Canada, Re-Elect Harper

Normally I wouldn't have great interest in the national elections in Canada, but two articles I saw today makes it clear that Prime Minister Stephen Harper [of the Conservative Party] should be re-elected again for a 4th term in today's election.

Canada's Prime Minister - Stephen Harper - staunch supporter of Israel
First, early in the morning, I saw this post from Caroline Glick, an American-Israeli woman who I respect and admire tremendously, that she posted on FaceBook.

Caroline Glick starts out her post:  "Let's be clear. Israel has no better friend in the Western world today than Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper. No one. Harper has been there for Israel every day. He has blocked Obama from using the G8 as a platform for pressuring Israel. He has championed Israel on every possible stage even in the face of massive pressure from Obama to keep quiet."

Caroline Glick goes on to say how Harper has stood up to anti-Jewish and Israel bigots at home, without regards to how it would hurt him politically.

She ends her post, that you can read by clicking here on FaceBook without this strong support for Harper:  "NO ONE has been as brave, forthright and steadfast in defending Israel as Harper. If Harper fails to secure reelection, Israel and the Jewish people worldwide will lose a great friend."

Well, just that alone was good enough for me to hope and pray that Prime Minister Harper wins a fourth term tonight.

Then my wife sent me this article from Oct. 19, 2015, that sealed the deal for me, from Breaking Israel News -"Obama Plans Takedown of Another U.S. Ally".

In that article from Breaking Israel News:  "President Obama failed to take out Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu but now he’s going after Canada’s Conservative Party Prime Minister Stephen Harper, a big supporter of Israel and opponent of Russian President Vladimir Putin."

"It’s a story the U.S. media won’t cover. But Judi McLeod of the Canada Free Press has been documenting how Obama is planning the “fundamental transformation” of Canada by taking down Harper’s government and bringing to power a progressive majority assembled from Canada’s Liberal Party and New Democratic Party (NDP), an affiliate of the Socialist International."

After reading these two articles I am really praying that Canadians vote to give a great friend of Israel, one of the only true friends of Israel  among world leaders in the world, Stephen Harper, a fourth term in office as Prime Minister.

God Bless Stephen Harper!

Oh, Canada, Re-elect Prime Minister Stephen Harper!
