Personal Note From the Tales

Tales will be taking care of personal business these next couple of days after having wallet with credit cards, driving license, etc. stolen [window of car broken as I was doing my daily 3 mile walk].   Tales knows better, that I shouldn't have had the wallet in the car and shouldn't have had all the credit cards and all other cards and social security card in one wallet.  The fetching Mrs. B has reminded me many times of my folly of doing that, but I guess it took this hard reality to smack the Tales stubborn head.  A painful lesson learned.   It will be a headache these next couple of weeks taking care of everything, so any prayers you may have I appreciate.  :-)))

So, it may be a couple of days before doing the next post as my mind is having a hard time concentrating on writing something down until I get this all straightened out.   Thanks to all of the readers of the Tales for your consideration.

The Texans had about as good a day as I did, blowing a 20-3 lead late in the third period to lose in OT.  It looks like we both lost our identities.   Hopefully, I can get mine back.  The Texans, as long as they have Gary Kubiak as coach and Matt Schaub at QB, doubtful.

Tales always trying to bring a little levity in every situation.

Will definitely keep you in my prayers. At least the Owls won yesterday! (Florida Atlantic University--I confess, never heard of them. :) )

Michael, I have been there. Fortunately, they dropped the wallet into a postoffice box with all the cards intact, just $300 in cash gone. A painful lesson, but taught me a lot about human nature. Take care, this too will pass.
