The American OJ Simpson Jury

Nov. 6, 2012 was, in my opinion, a devastating night for America's future and the American people.  Of course, the pain that will befall the American people will be self inflicted with the decision made.
Because this was such a dark day in America's history, Tales was considering a black out on posting today.

But I happened to hear this patriotic lady call in the Bill Bennett's "Morning in America" radio show who made a brilliant analogy for the election, and I wanted to share it with you.
She said: "This was just the OJ Simpson jury on a bigger scale."

When she said that I am positive she wasn't referring at all at the racial makeup of the jury.  She meant, I am almost sure, that with all of the evidence and facts staring the American people in the face of a failed presidency, both economically and on foreign policy, they completely overlooked that [for whatever reason] to re-elect this divisive president.

Evidence Solyndra, Fast and Furious, Benghazi, America's credit rating devalued, 7.9% unemployment, over $3/ gallon gas for years [with no end in sight], 46 million people in poverty, Middle East on fire, American Ambassador and three other Americans killed in terrorist attack, 16 trillion in debt, trillion dollar deficits, 47 million people on food stamps and relations with our ally Israel at the lowest point in our history.

American Jury VerdictNot Guilty

Demographics , not common sense is why we will be faced with increasing debt, poor economy and more dependance on government --- we must have welfare reform, a better buisness environment, incentive to succeed, awakening of foreign policy issues and i am saddened to say i am skeptical that any of this will now occur. Hello Greece and France we now have joined you in defeat.

There were two clear visions for the future of this country at stake in this election. The American people chose the long course in my opinion that will be devastating for our children and grand children.

A sad day indeed for America.

Thanks for your comments brother!

Exactly. I have said something to this effect just before reading your blog. We can try to fault many things about this colossal loss, but it boils down to millions of dumb and gullible, uniformed, apparently comfortably off,short-sighted voters.
They have made now two strikes and are almost out , as the third strike may be too late...

Yes, Peter the rules may have changed because I think this two strikes may make America out. Sad to say.
Blessings, Peter!
