Obama's Katrina-Another Cover up By The MSM

Hat Tip:  From my patriotic, great American, pro Israel skin doc brother Brad. Brad is no ideologue and is one of the few true independent people I know who looks at the facts on hand and makes all political decisions and judgements based on the facts.  Brad called me on the phone because he was so upset about the developments that he saw from headlines on The Drudge Report about the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy and the corresponding lack of coverage from the main stream media.

Here are the headlines taken from directly from The Drudge Report:

This is four days later, my brother noted [my brother's call was on Friday].  Four days later with no leadership from the president, as after photo ops in New Jersey to receive the over gushing praise from Governor Christie, scooted out of town to more fund raising [ironically again to Las Vegas] and celebratory rallies around the nation.  My brother noted in anger: "Doesn't everyone remember how the news media demonized George W Bush for the lack of federal response four days after Katrina?"  "Where the hell is the news media now?" Brad asked. Where is this press looking out for people that are suffering.  In saying that, I remember Brad was also angry at the time at George W Bush and his response to Katrina. So, my brother wasn't so much questioning the media's coverage of Katrina, but pointing out the lack of the same kind of coverage [in order to protect Obama] during Sandy.  For myself, I did question the Katrina coverage for it's ones sided blaming president Bush without placing appropriate responsibility on the local and state officials in Louisiana.

There is an obvious, scandalous double standard by the main stream media that is not just covering this presidential campaign, it is participating in it on Obama's behalf.  The coverage on Hurricane Sandy, to go along with the media's participation in the cover up of Benghazi, is dangerous for the continuance of the greatest free democracy ever known to man. This country has relied on the over the air media and the fourth estate to keep the American people informed of a corrupt government and its politicians. The American people do not want this institution to take part in the corruptness or scandal in order to protect those same politicians.  For example, when you have one of the main organs of the main stream media, the New York Times, [who prides itself as providing "all the news that's fit to print"] completely ignoring the scandal of Benghazi, you are looking at corruptness by the media of the highest order.

To me, the main stream media's coverage of Benghazi and Sandy is the kind you would see from the media of a third world government with a despotic dictator.  If we are to remain the exceptional country we have always been, that "shining city upon the hill," this scandalous lack of coverage or curiosity by the main stream media whenever their fellow liberal Democrats are in power must end.

We don't have to worry when Mitt Romney becomes the 45th president of the United States. The main stream media will be right there once again digging deep to find any wrong doing to "protect" the American people.   Thanks a lot, media.

One other thought about the developments after Sandy.  Hey, mayor Bloomberg [NY-Independent] and Governor Christie [NJ-Republican], I have a suggestion for you.   Instead of going out of your way to praise and endorse Obama [in the case of Bloomberg], and slobber at the feet of Obama [in the case of Gov Christie] you should have better used the time in trying to help the suffering people of your city and state.

Moreover Big Mike, because this administration has , along with the press (excluding the great investigative work by Fox News), been able to cover up access to the facts on Benghazi, obamas second term should he god forbid win, will be hounded by congress having to go to the courts to get the data on the tragedy. Is abrogation of duty and lying to the American public, and refusin to answer congressional request for answers an impeachable offense??

Thanks for that important addition big Brad. And thanks for alerting me on this post.
Let us pray these corrupt people (administration and the liberal press) are resoundingly defeated.
