Don't Rock The Island

I found this interesting headline from the Drudge Report on Tuesday: "Congressman: 'We earn our $174K salary".   I was interested in seeing which congressman would actually want to boast that to the public.

From CNS news I found out who the congressman was. He was Representative Hank Johnson, D-GA.   Hmm, that named sounded familiar. I thought I remembered some "brilliant" insights he gave during a house committee hearing a couple of years ago concerning stationing Marines on the island of Guam.  My thoughts were confirmed that this was the same man when listening to the Sean Hannity radio show.      So, a  hat tip to Sean for this video.

When listening to this audio from this clip of Hank Johnson, a United States congressman,  keep in mind that this person has just been re-elected-in a landslide.

Actual footage from a congressional hearing in 2010-this is not a Saturday Night Live clip:

Hank Johnson is not the only brilliant thinker who got re-elected to congress.  Some of the other great intellects who were re-elected to congress: Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-FL, Alan Grayson, D-Fl, Nancy Pelosi, D-CA, Sheila Jackson Lee, D-TX;  Also, Barbara Boxer, D-Ca, got re-elected to the Senate in 2010; and Richard Mordouck, R-In and Todd Akin, R-MO, while losing their elections, did win their primary nominations.   Because of these developments "Tales" has done some serious soul searching and reassessing of past posts.

"Tales" makes the following announcement.  Throw out all theories and pronouncements you have read from this blog in the last year.  Throw them all out.   Tales has finally figured it out.

In a nutshell: The American people are stupid and this country is in big trouble.
