Quip of The Week Comes From Congressman Ted Poe

Ted Poe, the unabashed conservative congressman from Texas, is known to give straight talk in a non politically correct way.   Down here it is known as Texas talk!  The quip he gave is about Vice president Joe Biden.

He could have made this quip even before Biden's sickening statement with many African American's in the audience, that Mitt Romney wanted to "put y'all back in chains."   Some say that was a gaffe, some say that is just Joe being Joe.  Not this time.  That statement was low disgusting rhetoric, bringing back images of slavery, which could only be taken to inflame people's passion to hate Mitt Romney and the Republicans.

What is even more sickening about it, is that the president of the United States and Obama's deputy campaign manager, Stephanie Cutter, not only didn't disavow the statement, they said they were fine with that ugliness.

It is embarrassing to have to say that the Vice President of the United States is a buffoon, but he is a buffoon.

Now the quip of the week from Congressman Ted Poe, R-TXThe Vice presidential debate between Paul Ryan and Joe Biden will be like Einstein debating Forrest Gump.

I don't recall that Hillary ever walked back her "plantation" comment. Biden's talk is along the same lines.
