Alan Dershowitz: Media Matters Could Become the Reverend Wright of 2012

Hat Tip: Thanks to The Daily Caller for its great ongoing investigation of the extreme left wing attack machine Media Matters.

From the Daily Caller: Media Matters Could Become the Reverend Wright of 2012 for Obama.

Harvard Professor Alan Dershowitz in an amazing interview on Breitbart TV called Media Matters radical Stalinists and says the White House and Democratic Party need to clearly separate themselves from the organization. Dershowitz said correctly that Media Matters use of the term "Israeli firsters", about Jewish Americans who are strong supporters of Israel, is anti-Semitic bigotry. He said Media Matters supports Hezbollah and Hammas and they use Stalinist tactics against their "enemies" [conservatives and any supporters of Israel].  When asked in the interview if he could see himself supporting a Republican for president if the White House didn't distance themselves from Media Matters, Dershowitz said: "I will make this pledge now. I will not support anyone that has any connection to the bigots of Media Matters".

Fox News has also reported of Dershowitz warning to Democrats and the White House:

"Speaking at University of Pennsylvania last week, well-known Israel supporter and Harvard professor Alan Dershowitz reportedly warned the press about MMFA's operations.
"I have, and let me tell you, Max Blumenthal and Media Matters will be single handedly responsible for (Obama) losing this election," he is reported saying. The Democrats "cannot win the election and keep this affiliation with them."

The Daily Caller investigations have found that Media Matters has had, in the past, weekly contacts with the White House.
From Fox News:
"The DC [Daily Caller] reports that the organization is in "regular contact with political operatives" in the Obama administration like senior adviser Valerie Jarrett, whom MMFA President Eric Burns and Brock met with in June 2010 at the White House.
The DC also claims Media Matters held weekly strategy calls with former White House deputy communications director Jen Psaki and other groups like the Center for American Progress. Psaki left the administration in October 2011".

Professor Alan Dershowitz is a liberal Democrat and also an unwavering supporter of Israel.
So, I praise him strongly for his intellectual  honesty that he has shown on this and many occasions confronting bigotry, even when it comes from the left.

Here is his interview that he gave on Breitbart TV.  You have to click on the link and then wait a few seconds for the audio to play.  Click here to listen.

Great point Brad, so obvious I missed it. He had help from the MSM, the same help he will have this time.
When you think about it, unless Americans [and especially Jewish Americans] wake up, Media Matters could be the Reverend Wright of 2012 and it still won't matter...kind of depressing to think about.
