Sean, Please Dump the Trump.

Sean Hannity, I love you man, but what is it with your love of the carnival barker Donald Trump.  This egotist is only out for one person, Donald Trump. His words and past actions show he could care less about the GOP.

In April of 2011 when Trump was still a candidate for the GOP nomination we have this from The Wall Street Journal online: "Donald Trump will “probably” run as an independent candidate for U.S. President in 2012 if he does not receive the Republican party’s nomination", he told the Wall Street Journal in a video interview on Monday.

During interviews with Sean Hannity, Donald Trump has repeatedly said that if he is not satisfied with the Republican nominee he would consider running as an independent.  When Sean tells him this would split the anti Obama vote and help re elect Obama, Trump always says he would only do it if he thought he could win.  Sean you tell us by that answer Trump wouldn't run as he would know it would give the election to Obama.  That might be true if Trump was not such an egotist and was a true conservative Republican.  Don't kid yourself, Sean, if Trump thinks running is in the best interest of Donald Trump, damn what the results would bring, he will run and that will give a boost to the re election of Obama.

Recently Trump told the UK Telegraph on Dec. 10:  "I represent the millions of Americans who wanted me to run and who are tired of this country getting ripped off by China and OPEC."  Then the self absorbed Trump continued: "They see me as someone who wouldn't allow this to happen. The candidates want my endorsement because those millions of Americans listen to me and respect me."
What an arrogant, pompous man.

Now today, Tuesday December 13th, Trump has called off moderating the Newsmax debate as all but two of the GOP candidates wisely told him they would not participate. With this snub of Trump, Trump revealed his true feelings as he said:  "he will not give up the option of running for president as an independent." That statement via Politico.  What a surprise that Trump calls off the debate waiting until he could milk it for all the publicity he could get. This was never going to be a serious debate. This was a big publicity stunt for the Donald.

So, Sean, this man who you praise all the time might very well sabotage the Republicans and the nation by running as an independent, thereby helping Barack Obama win a second term.  Then if he does run, Sean, after all your praise for this man, what will you then say?  Tell everyone they can't consider voting for him, after you've been telling everyone how Trump is a good man who truly wants what is best for this country?  Who will listen to you then?

Is this at all surprising?  Trump as recently as 2010 made big donations to liberal Democrats Harry Reid, Chuck Schumer and Rahm Emmanuel.     From the Washington Posts:"Trumps Donations Show Democrat Favoritism:  we find Trump has given hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years to Hillary Rodham Clinton (N.Y.), Sen. John F. Kerry (Mass.), Rep. Charles B. Rangel (N.Y.), Sen. Charles E. Schumer (N.Y.) and the late Sen. Edward M. Kennedy (Mass.).

When asked about his donations to liberal Democrats in the past Trump talks about all his business adventures and if  he wants to have a voice he has to give donations to those who will probably win.  I guess that also explains his switching  from being a Republican to Democrat and back to Republican in this cycle.  This man has no loyalty to Republicans or conservative ideals, Sean.  Only if it will help him or his business adventures will he support them.  And make no mistake about it.  If Donald Trump thinks it is in his best interest to run as an independent candidate, he wouldn't give one iota of a concern if that helped re elect President Obama.

Remember Sean how during Obama's 2008 presidential run you couldn't understand how the American people couldn't see what a radical, anti capitalist man Obama was.  I wondered along with you. It was mind boggling.  Sean, now today I am wondering this same thing about you and your views about Trump.  Why can't you see that this man is not a true conservative Republican? Why can't you see what is obvious, Sean?  He cares zero about the Republican party.  Donald Trump cares first and foremost about Donald Trump.

Please, Sean Hannity, dump the Trump.  Do it now!

Not only is your post correct and relevant, the ONLY way I see the conservatives losing this critical election is undermining from trump or ironically the tea party---- yes , the tea party, if it continues to try and destroy Romney , rather than point out all the problems of Obama, then they , not the ignorant blind Obama supporters , will be the cause of such a travesty! The tea party needs to speak positively for either Gingrich or Romney , given the obvious fact that it will be one of the 2----- ALL efforts must be to destroy the snowball rolling down hill that this president is!

You are right on Brad. The nominee will be either Romney or Gingrich and everyone who cares about this country must unite behind whoever it is, or we could give away this election and I think, put our country truly in peril with another 4 years of Obama. I will give Romney or Gingrich 100% of my support in order to defeat Obama.
