GOP Primary Schedule for 2012.

Well if you're a political junky like me you should be excited that we have only one week to go before the start of the nominating process for the GOP.  On January 3 we have the Iowa caucuses. We have two weeks to go before the first primary, which is in New Hampshire.

Because many of the states do not have a winner take all delegates procedure [like in the past], this could be a long process. It will almost certainly last until Super Tuesday. If there is no clear leader after Super Tuesday and if there is more than two contenders still alive, then we could be looking at the real possibility of a brokered convention.
