Unfinished Greatness

Yesterday I posted Franz Schubert's great piano quintet "the Trout".  Continuing the Schubert weekend with one of my favorite composers and favorite symphonies, his Symphony #8, known as the Unfinished because he never completed the final two movements. This has only two movements, but oh, what wonderful music.  His second movement is so beautiful, one almost is glad that this symphony is unfinished.  What a grand feeling you have after the completion of the second movement.   This symphony maybe unfinished but it is certainly unfinished greatness.

Franz Schubert's Symphony #8 "Unfinished" movement 2 Andante con moto
