Yesterday, I posted how a minor key in classical music can portray a dark, more dramatic theme many times. So, today I will post a major key that so often means the music will be bright and happy.
Mozart's Piano concerto #16 in D Major. This piece is not very often played in concert halls [in fact I never have heard it played in Jones Hall in Houston] but like all of Mozart's piano concertos is a delight to hear. See if you can tell how this major key portrays a bright and happy mood.
